The ANZICS CORE Adult Patient Database Seminar 2025

An Introduction to the ANZICS Adult Patient Database for data collectors, clinicians and those interested in using ICU registry data to improve patient outcomes.

Wednesday 19th February 2025

If you are a newly appointed data collector or a clinician wanting to know more about the ANZICS Adult Patient Database, please join us for this informative seminar.

The program will cover:

  1. An introduction to the ANZICS Clinical Quality Registry
  2. An overview of the Australian and New Zealand Risk of Death (ANZROD) model and registry benchmarking process
  3. A summary of the Outlier Management Process
  4. The adult COMET and CORE Portal Reports
  5. An introduction to the Adult Patient Data Dictionary and the rules of data coding.
  6. Data coding exercises

Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm (Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time)

Venue: Seminar Room, The Australia and New Zealand College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM), Level 2, 101 High St Prahran, 3181 (Enter via 2 Porter St).

Please note, parking is limited to 1-2 hour street parking.  The venue is a 2 minute walk from Prahran train station via Porter Street.

Cost: $60 (Inc. GST)
