SUMMARY:South Australian ICU Fellowship Course
DESCRIPTION:The 36th South Australian Intensive Care Fellowship Exam (Tub’s) Course will be held in Adelaide from 13-15 February 2019. It is a comprehensive 3-day course aimed at CICM trainees planning to sit the Fellowship Examination in the following 12 months.\nThe focus is very much on interactive and practical sessions\, and it includes tutorials on the written examination\, vivas and hot cases\, as well as mock examinations in each of these.\nFormal hot case sessions are run at 4 hospitals (Royal Adelaide Hospital\, Queen Elizabeth Hospital\, Flinders Medical Centre and Lyell McEwin Hospital)\, ensuring that each candidate will get exposure to 2 different Units. DESCRIPTION:This is an intensive four day program designed to immerse healthcare leaders and instructors in an inter-professional learning environment. DESCRIPTION:This year’s ANZICS Safety & Quality Conference will be held at the Crown Promenade Melbourne on Monday 14 October 2019. This year the S&Q Conference is an affiliated event prior to the World Congress of Intensive Care which is being held in Melbourne on 15-18 October. \nThe Conference Organising Committee is currently developing a program to appeal to a multi-disciplinary audience. SUMMARY:ANZICS Sustainability Conference (Digital Event)
DESCRIPTION:The ANZICS Sustainability Conference will be held on Tuesday 15 September 2020\, with a theme ‘How Green is my ICU?’. The event topics will be related to the science of sustainability\, impact of ICU greenhouse gas emissions\, how to audit/measure climate impact of ICU’s\, how to improve ICU sustainability. \nThe conference will be run in a digital format\, and will be a mix of didactic lectures\, paper presentations and interactive panel discussions. \nPartial revenue from the event will be used to develop a Toolkit to help ICUs measure and manage their carbon footprint – guidelines to audit/ measure and manage impact of ICUs equipment\, consumables\, footprint of climate change/ sustainability for ICU that are already built and for new/ redevelopment of ICUs and comparison with peers.
